Let’s be honest for a second. I don’t like a lot of people around. That’s why I photograph what I photograph. Swamp photography, no one chills in a swamp, night photography, people are at home, storm chasing, typically no one around. That was different this past weekend.

With the only area in the US to have tornado potential it seemed everyone and their grandmother decided to get out and see what they could find. And a show definitely occurred. I tried to make the best of it and captured this chaser admiring the incoming storm. Don’t know who it was, he never said hello and neither did I. Which is fine. Some things are best left to silence. So whoever you are fellow storm chaser, I hope you got your shot and enjoyed the show!

  1. Very nice shot. I’m hearing a lot of chatter of issues in street photography where unhappy ’civilians’ get included in the photo. As more people try getting back to normal, we all have to rethink the rules…
