Forgotten Abandoned HOUSE in the Woods (Old Cars left behind)

This property was built sometime in the early 1900s and seems to have been abandoned in the early 2000s, a newspaper inside said 2006, it looks like someone had started to fix it up and ran out of money or passed away. The house had a very bad black mold problem! Also on the property was a barn along with some old cars decaying in the woods!

I DO NOT STEAL OR VANDALIZE, I only take pictures and video and only go in if it’s already open , I do not give out locations to prevent further vandalism to these historic places! Always get permission if possible!

Thanks for watching everyone. Hope you enjoy it! Make sure to like and sub if you haven’t already so you know when my next videos out, Thanks!!!(:

  1. I don’t understand why this video was published in 2016, on the YouTube channel, and it just appeared recently on my notifications. Yet! we’re already in July 2020? I guess that it’s probably because the videos appear randomly from time to time on YouTube. Thank you Kappy. Johnny, Montréal, Canada 🙏👋👍🌎🌈😎🌹❤️

  2. @ 4:32 What bitter irony 🙁 It sounded like they were really that intent on re-fixing this house until they just stopped for no apparent reason. I could think of at least a couple of possible reasons for it. But I'd like to know the real explanation. Either way, it's a big shame they just left it as it is because even right now (or at least until this video upload) it looked like it still could've been saved 🙁

  3. Catching up in 2020. Wow. This is terrible. I see new doors, drywall, new electrical outlets, refinished stair case. They must have spent several thousands of dollars only to walk away from. I only saw the Black Mold upstairs. I wonder why they couldn't get rid of it ?

  4. Wow, this would have been a nice place if they wouldn't have let it grow mold. I would have loved to have that house! Thanks for sharing Kappy!! Peace, Kim ~

  5. Kappy- it doesn’t sound like you’re wearing a mask. If you’re going to keep going in places with black mold, you need a mask!!

  7. You can see new windows and inside doors installed with new electrical supplies stored upstairs. They probably can't afford mold remediation.

  8. Wow, talk about a hidden gem! Looks like they left a good portion of the materials to pick up renovations again.  (Minus the drywall and beams to replace those moldy ceilings.  Damn, I'm really glad the vandals have finally left a nice place alone!  Lord willing someone will come along soon and proceed to rescue this beautiful stone foundation home.  They are the ones that were really built to last.  Thank you for the tour!  🙂

  9. The 1st upturned Auto was a 1957 Bel Air sedan, & the other was from 1975 or 76.
The guy might be out of the Country, on work, or VERY LIKELY, it is tied up in a divorce court battle.

  10. Nice find. A modern house which tried to channel the Georgian style, I think.
What makes me think that is the pedimented dormer, the full-width one story porch and the double hung windows. Oddly enough, no shutters left. Nice try from the builder, but the dormer shape is wrong, its window is miserably cheap and the low hipped roof kills it for me. It needed at least a tall hip roof for kicks. Well it doesn't matter anyway, as its abandon by the previous owners sounded its death knell.

As for these cars, my guess is that a hurricane toss them around. It's very obvious with the upside down vehicle. 0:59 Take a look at the bent car door, there's no way it was initially left in this very place to rot.
